Like most places we have been to there are so many differences in interpretation in things we see and also very different expectations of what is the norm. India often provides endless hours of entertainment of the sights and sounds of life passing you by. Below are some of my favourite scenes of moments that I managed to catch on camera.
Man with The Giant Balloon, I have no idea what I would do with this but about 10 different men tried to sell us one....
Toilet Shower, This is my new favourite invention, it brings the three S's into a new realm of efficiency!
Cows – Now cows are everywhere in India and as Holy animals they roam free. This is not that odd and you get used to it...
But our personal favourite was this young thing who took his freedom to new levels, He marched into the waiting hall at the railway station, didn't show his ticket, he did not queue, barged past the chaos around him, then proceeded to take himself through Security and off onto the platform. I was so stunned and laughing so hard this was the only photo i got, I even chased after him onto the platform, but he had disappeared. He probably got the fast train to Delhi!
The Rickshaws are always a favourite experieince in India, but like the cows, it would appear Water Buffalo are getting in on the act rather than the Railway though they prefer the roads...
